Faux Calligraphy with The Modern Calligraphy Company
Recently we partnered with The Modern Calligraphy Company to show our Instagram followers how to create beautiful calligraphy simply with the pens and pencils you have around the home.
Equipped with a pre-provided alphabet tracing template and pen and paper, our followers joined Maisie Minett, Lead Calligrapher at The Modern Calligraphy Company live as she demonstrated the basics of lettering, and how to develop your own calligraphy style using a variety of pens, techniques, and colours, all from the comfort of home.

If you want to join the fun, all you need is:
- A few plain pieces of white paper
- Four or more pens (biros, pencils, or gel pens are great!)
- A print out of this free alphabet tracing worksheet
