Why we love Fall
Fall is possibly our favorite time of year. The time when evenings draw in and the days feel just a little bit cooler. When the leaves begin to transform into a beautiful spectrum of golden colors. A time for comfortable clothes, hot chocolate, and cozy nights in with the family.
There are so many reasons to love fall – these are just some of our favorites.
From country to coast, as nature eases into its annual slumber, it puts on a display of rich color like no other. A beautiful palette of golden yellow, brown and red envelops the countryside, turning a walk in the woods into an awe-inspiring tour of nature. Sunsets feel like they last longer and glow stronger than any other time of year – so no matter where you are, it’s possible to see the rich colors of fall.
Cozy season is finally upon us! Fresh, crisp mornings, warm fireplaces and hot chocolate (mmm)! As the days get shorter and the temperature drops, now’s the time to make the most of the remaining daylight and enjoy longer evenings snuggled up in your favorite pajamas. Create new outfits, cozy into your new favorite sweater, or throw on a jacket and take on the elements. Then come home for a relaxing evening together, watch a movie, read a book, or dig out your favorite family board game.
We’re not just talking pumpkin spiced lattes (even though they are delicious!). We’re talking proper food that warms the soul after a big day adventuring. Hearty stews, soups, bakes, roasts, pies – all packed with seasonal root vegetables and perhaps accompanied with a glass (or two) of your favorite tipple.

We don’t know how Halloween will look this year, but we’ll still be celebrating. With a little creativity, the festivities don’t have to be cancelled – there’s so much you can do at home.
Carve pumpkins, throw a family Halloween party with homemade fancy dress and bob for apples. Whichever way you enjoy Halloween this year, stay safe and have fun.
Taking some 'me' time
Fall is a great time to relax. As the excitement of summer begins to dissipate, it’s important to make time for yourself to recharge, re-centre, and rejuvenate, ready for the winter and festivities ahead. It can be as simple as a long, hot bubble bath (perfect at the end of a chilly day) or finding a cozy spot by an open fire to enjoy a book. Take some time out for yourself once a week – or why not take a whole week? Whatever you do, know that even the smallest amount of time spent on yourself is always a worthy investment.
